Arts Interaction Building

The Arts Interaction Building is a dynamic cultural hub designed to merge creativity, education, and commerce under one roof. Organized into four distinct zones, the building balances public accessibility with specialized functions. The first zone features vibrant public spaces, including takeaway food outlets and souvenir shops. The second zone houses administration and an arts school offering short and crash courses across diverse creative fields. The third and fourth zones are fully commercial, providing rentable studios, restaurants, and event spaces for weddings, birthdays, and cultural gatherings — all capitalizing on panoramic views. Service areas are strategically placed at the rear, supported by two staircases, four public elevators, one express elevator for commercial use, and two glass elevators serving the garden galleries. The result is a multifunctional building that fosters artistic exchange, education, and community engagement while maximizing commercial viability.

Client Objective

The client aimed to create a multifunctional arts facility that could serve as both a cultural landmark and a commercial hub. The objective was to provide spaces for education, public interaction, and rentable venues, ensuring the building would attract diverse audiences while generating sustainable revenue.

Our Strategy

Our design strategy was to distribute the building into four clear functional zones, ensuring seamless circulation and accessibility. Public spaces were placed at the forefront to encourage community engagement, while administrative and educational areas provided structured learning opportunities. Commercial zones were designed to maximize views and create flexible spaces for events and studios, enhancing the building’s economic potential. Service areas were carefully integrated to maintain efficiency without disrupting the user experience. Vertical circulation was optimized with a mix of public, express, and glass elevators, ensuring smooth movement across zones while highlighting the building’s architectural transparency.
