Client Objective

The client’s objective was to establish a modern, future‑ready headquarters that enhances productivity, fosters collaboration, and represents ICMR’s stature as India’s premier medical research body. The building needed to accommodate administrative functions, research support, and public engagement while projecting an image of innovation and credibility.

Our Strategy

Our strategy was to design a workplace that balances efficiency with human‑centric detail. Architectural planning focused on optimizing circulation, daylight, and spatial zoning, while interior design emphasized flexibility, ergonomics, and wellness. Collaborative spaces, meeting zones, and research support areas were integrated seamlessly to encourage interaction and knowledge exchange. Material selection and finishes were chosen to reflect durability and sophistication, while sustainable design principles guided energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. The result is a headquarters that not only meets functional requirements but also symbolizes ICMR’s role in shaping the future of healthcare research in India.
